O-H…I-O!

But first, a little teaser about an upcoming post. It’s 58 degrees as I sit down to write this post looking out my window at Little Wolf Pond in the Tupper Lake region of the Adirondacks in upstate New York. I have pants, a hoodie, and a flannel overshirt on…on June 27th! This makes me smile.

Well, I finally made it to the state of Ohio. It only took 58 years. Becky frequented Kings Island with her friends back in the 90’s. We’ve had a lot of recommendations on where to go and places to see, and things to do (Canton for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Cleveland for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, etc…) but those will have to wait for the next trip.

So where’d you go? We stayed at Lakeview RV Campground just south of Columbus. Did you go see THE Ohio State University? Nope. Even better, we visited Jim’s sister and husband Kevin. They were gracious hosts taking us to a local Irish pub for dinner and beers, taking us to Brew Dog brewing, and welcoming us it their country home for a bbq.

They also humored the photographer in me and stopped by a local covered bridge so I could take a few shots. It peaked my interest and sparked a solo adventure the next morning to capture a few more.
