Great Oceans….No, those are lakes! (Part 1)

This week we skirted the Great Lakes with waterfront stops along Lake Erie and Lake Ontario with excursions back to Ohio for more covered bridges and down south to the Finger Lakes. I’ll break this up into two blog posts.

Our first stop was Lakeview Cabins and RV Park in North Springfield PA. What a gem this place is. Large grass spots right on Lake Erie. Nothing like views on the water.

From there we took a trip along the water over to Erie and drove around … Presque Isle. The Lighthouse was definitely the highlight.

Next up was an excursion back to Conneaut Ohio (only a couple of miles) to see more covered bridges. (images of State Road, Middle Road, Creek Road, and Root Road covered bridges)
