Summer 2025

Hello, it’s been a while since our last post but it’s that time again. All the trip plannings done, were finishing up all those RV Checklist items I put off last fall, and were getting the rig loaded for another exciting adventure.

Before I go any further I need to introduce a new member to our family, Rusty. We found him at a Schnauzer rescue earlier this year. He has no idea the new adventures that are in store for him, and us. There will no doubt be an adjustment period as he hasn’t been camping yet and tends to get motion sickness. Did I mention he loves to chase rabbits? He’s definitely going to test out his leash and lead lines.

So, where are we going this summer? We’ll be focusing on the Western US and the Canadian Rockies with stops at several National Parks along the way including; Sequoia, Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Redwoods, Crater Lake, Olympic, North Cascades, Banff, Glacier, and Zion.

Last summer we covered 12,000 miles in just under 100 days which was a bit to fast so were slowing it down and spending more nights in each spot. We’ll only cover 6,000 miles in a bit over 100 day this summer.

So buckle up and get ready for some adventure.

I’ll catch you up after we hit Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite.
