After an overnight stop in Banning CA we made our wat to Lemon Cove Campground just outside of Sequoia National Park.
Rusty did great during the long drive days and with a little help from Metformin (Dramamine), he didn’t have any motion sickness incidents. A big win!
The park is famous for it’s giant sequoia trees including the General Sherman tree, which is the largest tree on earth by volume. It lies within the Giant Forest which contains five of the largest trees on earth. This makes for an epic hike through these giants.

We also drove through the Tunnel Log, if you look closely you’ll see our friend Beth giving us the OK to drive through.

On our final day, we made the hike up to Tokapah Falls trail to see this 1250 ft beauty.

Next stop Yosemite National Park!
