The highlight of any Nashville trip is heading down to Broadway to check out the Honkey Tonks and listen to some country music. We accomplished that and we had a great time, but we also went to check out the Andrew Jackson Hermitage. What a great stop to learn more about Old Hickory and his complex role in the history of our country.
Andrew Jackson Hermitage – Jackson was a lawyer, planter, general, and statesman who served as our seventh president. He may be one of the most controversial presidents because he was a slave owner and brutal treatment of native Americans while at the same time being an advocate of ordinary Americans and his work in preserving the union of states.

Broadway – It’s always a good time for a good time!

Next up O-H….I-O.
