We continued our journey further into upstate New York with a stop at Little Wolf Campground in the Tupper Lake region of the Adirondacks. What a beautiful area! We’ll definitely be back when we can spend several weeks or even a month as there is soo much to see and do.
Little Wolf Campground – Located on Little Pond. We had beach front sites, but we never went for a swim. Too chilly or rainy most days. We did manage to find Raquette River Brewing which had tasty beers and several food truck to choose from. We even managed to squeeze in a round of Golf.

High Falls Gorge
One of the highlights was a trip to High Gorge Falls. It’s a tourist trap worth visiting as they have a catwalk built into the rock walls which allow for fantastic viewing of the AuSable river cutting through the gorge.

Whiteface Mountain – Our next excursion was another tourist trap worth doing, a trip to the top of Whiteface Mountain. It cost us $60 to “use the road” to the summit where you can climb to the top for stunning views of the Tupper Lakes region and Lake Placid. Kudos to Jim and Beth for making it to the summit, it was cold and windy up there!

Next up, an overnighter in the White Mountains of New Hampshire before we plant our flag in Maine.
