It’s Winona Not Wynonna

We departed Wisconsin and made the drive to Winona, Minnesota for a couple days stay along the Mississippi river before parting ways with Jim and Beth and continuing our trek westward. Amazing how much nicer this area was compared to our stop on the Mississippi earlier in the summer.

The RV Park was located right off the river, had large grassy sites, and offered live entertainment and food trucks in the evening which made it an easy decision to stay there and enjoy the festivities.

We did find time for a hike up Sugar Loaf which got our hearts pumping and provided great views and the opportunity to watch several local climbing the bluff.
